What is a tennis bracelet?

A tennis bracelet is a cult classic that remains popular today. It is generally lightweight, flexible and delicate – a single row of diamonds (generally the same cut/carat/clarity) with a clasp securing it around your wrist. Made famous by Tennis player Chris Evert in the 1970’s/80’s – these stunning, elegant bracelets always look amazing, and have stood the test of time. They are available in a range of metal types.

How do you measure your wrist for a bracelet?

A bracelet generally has a clasp to secure it to your wrist. It is important that it isn’t too loose, as it may get snagged, or too tight. Come in-store and let one of our jewellery specialists fit it correctly for you.

Which hand to wear a gold bracelet on?

Traditionally, this used to matter, but in modern times you can wear your gold bracelet on your left or right hand. Right handed people may prefer it on their left hand, as it gets in the way less of the time, and the same for left handed people.

How should bracelets fit?

A bracelet should not be too loose so it can slide off or get snagged on things. You also don’t want it so tight that it starts to hurt your wrist. A well-fitting bracelet will be a similar fit to a watch – you can comfortably fit 1 or 2 fingers between the jewellery and your wrist.
