Luke was on his red P plates and would borrow his mum’s car when she worked on the weekends. The one condition was that he had to pick her up from work and let’s just say that was the best deal he’s ever made. He went one night to pick up his mum from work and met Chloe – he knew instantly that this was a girl he wanted to know more.
Luke and Chloe have been together for five years, and have a dog, Archie. They have travelled together, purchased their first home in 2019, and make each other the happiest versions of themselves, for which they are so grateful for.
The Proposal:
Chloe and Luke got engaged on the 20 March 2021, on Chloe’s birthday. They had visited the Gold Coast for the week to celebrate and on her birthday, Luke told her that he had one more surprise. They walked from their hotel through Cascade Gardens where Luke had a surprise picnic setup organised for her. Luke says “Walking up to the beautiful picnic setup she was in so much shock already, but little did she know what was about to happen. Next minute she turned around to me down on one knee. It was such a special day and one that we will never forget.” She of course said YES!
The Ring:
Luke had consulted Chloe’s cousin and best friend about the best ring for Chloe. Luke knew she loved the radiant cut diamond, and with the help of the Simon Curwood team, was able to create Chloe’s dream ring. Chloe says, “if I had to choose one favourite detail it would be the invisible halo. It adds such a special touch! It is everything I could have dreamed of and more! It is the most perfect ring! It’s so so beautiful!”
The wedding:
Luke and Chloe are yet to tie the knot, but when they do, they want to be surrounded by loved ones. They are so excited to share their love with family and friends.
