Devante and Chantelle met through Instagram and have been together for 7 years.
The proposal:
Devante booked a weekend away at the Hunter Valley where they both love to visit.
He booked a helicopter ride and told Chantelle it was a package which included the ride, a photographer and lunch at a beautiful winery.
At the winery, after they ate their lunch Chantelle received a beautiful bouquet of flowers and the photographer asked if she was able to take a photo of them in front of the water fountain. Chantelle says, “we got up and smiled for the camera and Devante looked at me and got on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes!!”
Upon returning back to their hotel room they had beautiful rose petals on the floor and a bottle of wine on the bed. Chantelle says, “it was an amazing weekend and I didn’t suspect a thing because we would always do random adventurous weekends away.”
The ring:
Devante designed the ring for Chantelle, with inspiration from the photos Chantelle had sent him and with help from the team at SCJ. Chantelle loves everything about her ring and also the fact that she was able to get her wedding and eternity band matched to the band on the engagement ring.
The wedding:
Devante and Chantelle were married at Holy Name of Mary Parish in Hunters Hill and had their reception at the beautiful Curzon Hall. They had the most amazing day/night, with all their families in the one place together.

Devante and Chantelle say, “Don’t stress, stay within your budget and make sure it’s something you both enjoy.”
